How credits work, what gets debited, and what's free.
Prepaid packs
We sell one-time credit packs. There's no monthly subscription and no rollover penalty, credits don't expire.

What costs a credit
One credit is debited when:
- A unique, parseable phone number reaches the paid provider, AND
- The provider returns a successful response.
What's free
- Malformed input, empty cells, non-digits, less than 7 digits. Never reaches the provider.
- Duplicates within a batch, collapsed by normalised E.164. First occurrence is billed; rest are free.
- Cache hits, successful lookups are cached for 24 hours across all batches.
- Unresolved lookups, credit is refunded automatically.
Refunds
We refund the credit when the provider fails irrecoverably (timeout, HTTP error, invalid response). If you suspect a bug or want a refund for something else, email hello@phonelistcleaner.com.
