Phone List Cleaner exists to help legitimate businesses clean phone lists before SMS or call campaigns. We will suspend accounts that use it for any of the below, without notice if the harm is ongoing.
Prohibited uses
- Spam. Bulk unsolicited messages without prior consent.
- Fraud or impersonation. Pretending to be someone you're not (a person, a bank, a government).
- Harassment or threats. Targeting individuals or groups with abuse.
- Unlawful surveillance. Tracking individuals without their knowledge or consent.
- Gambling operations that violate the laws of the jurisdictions involved.
- Adult / sexual services outside the legal frameworks where the call/SMS originates and terminates.
- Debt collection harassment. Violating FDCPA-style rules anywhere they apply.
- Illegal scraping or list enrichment from sources you don't have rights to.
- Stolen list enrichment. Cleaning phone lists that you obtained through unauthorized access.
- Any illegal use. Violations of TCPA, GDPR, UK PECR, CAN-SPAM, or equivalent rules in your jurisdiction.
Operational limits
- One active batch per account at a time (v1).
- Maximum 100,000 rows per batch (v1).
- API: 6000 requests per minute and 1,000,000 requests per day per API key. See /docs/api for the full contract.
- We may add additional limits to protect the platform's availability.
Reporting violations
If you believe an account is being used to violate this policy or to harm you, email hello@phonelistcleaner.com with a clear description. We respond within 2 business days.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. For severe violations (spam at scale, fraud, illegal content) we may report to law enforcement. Affected customers can appeal by emailing us within 30 days of suspension.
